ANNOUNCEMENT BY THE BANKING, FINANCE AND INSURANCE COMMISSION, PUBLISHED IN APPLICATION OF ARTICLE 34, § 2, PARAGRAPH 3, OF THE LAW OF 2 AUGUST 2002
The Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission hereby announces, in application of Article 34, § 2, paragraph 3, of the Law of 2 August 2002, the decision to suspend trading in the following financial instrument on a Belgian regulated market:
The suspension of trading in financial instrument Fortis & derivatives, ISIN code BE0003801181 on Euronext Brussels, initiated at 16:30 on 12/12/2008 is extended at the request of the issuer in order to allow Fortis SA/NV to publish an update on its financial situation, in the light of the judgment of the Court of Appeal in Brussels.
